Vocalise

Welcome to Vocalise! Vocalise is an all inclusive ladies choir based in Weston-Super-Mare. No experience necessary – no audition – no need to read music. Lots of different genres of music to sing – something for everyone! Run by Music Director, Ann Clewlow, we are a fun, warm, friendly group.

“Joining Vocalise was the best thing I did after moving to Weston-Super-Mare in Nov 2018. I only knew one person in Weston, now I have a whole bunch of wonderful new friends!” Elaine

“I was very nervous. It turned out that I needn’t have worried. With Ann Clewlow’s nurturing and brilliant teaching skills I found the passion for something I was searching for. We have a diverse range of people and everone is really welcoming.”  Sharon

“I’ve never looked back after joining, it’s become one of my favourite things in life. I always look forward to Monday evenings and I’ve never had to force myself to leave the house to attend (even when it’s cold and raining outside)! ” Carly

Vocalise and Vocalise-Lite June 2022

Our award-winning choir has gone from strength to strength, performing locally at All Saints Church, and we’ve hosted regular concerts, some with our friends, Bold Brass, at Boulevard United Reformed Church, Victoria methodist Chucrch, St George’s Community Centre and Kewstoke Village Hall.

Like all choirs, Vocalise live rehearsals were interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. We restarted on Monday 6th September, 2021 at our new home, St Georges Community Centre, Willow Close, Weston super Mare, BS22 BS22 7XF. 7.30pm – 9.30pm.
