Ann Clewlow – Soprano & Singing Teacher

Ann had singing and piano lessons from a very young age, and went on to study singing at Trinity College of Music with international soprano Wendy Eathorne. She is a coloratura soprano, and has wide experience as a concert and oratorio soloist and recitalist at home and in Europe, and has appeared on both local and national television and BBC Radio Bristol.

Ann is a Fellow of Trinity College London, the London College of Music, and an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She conducts the award-winning ladies’ choir, Vocalise, and Vocalise-Lite, and, whilst teaching singing there, set up the first girls’ choir in Bristol Cathedral Choir School.

A qualified Vocal Health First Aider, and a member of the Association of Teachers of Singing, Ann has a thriving private teaching practice, with students from age 10 to 80, beginners to diploma. Many of her students have gone on to study singing at stage schools, music colleges and universities, and some are now singing teachers themselves or working full time in the entertainment world.
