Ann Clewlow

Ann Clewlow – Soprano & Singing Teacher

Ann studied singing at Trinity College of Music, London, with Wendy Eathorne and Geoffrey Pratley, during which time she won a scholarship to Hereford Summer School. She became a Fellow of the London College of Music in 1999 and of Trinity College London in 2002.

Ann has appeared on all the network television channels, as well as singing live on Cable TV and has been a frequent guest on BBC Radio Bristol. Her love of singing has led to  appearances as a recitalist and soloist with choirs and choral societies in the UK, with performances in Bristol Cathedrals, Wells and Hereford Cathedrals, Bristol Hippodrome, the Playhouse Theatre, Weston super Mare, and St. Georges, Brandon Hill. She was the soprano soloist in Stravinsky’s Les Noces in St. John’s, Smith Square, for Stephen Jackson. Ann has also performed in concerts across Europe and is a popular soloist at weddings and other special occasions.

Ann has taught singing in Bristol Cathedral School, has a busy private teaching practice and is director of Vocalise, an award-winning ladies choir.

She is also an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
